INGREDIENTS :
1.Orange Peel – Peel of 4 Oranges (fully ripened and fresh)
2.Urad Dal/ Black gram- 4 Tbsp
3.Fenugreek- 1 Tsp
4 Red Chillies -4 -5
5.Tamarind- 1 Lime size
6.Turmeric powder-1 Tsp
7.Jaggery/sarkara – 2 cubes
8. Salt – As Required
METHOD:
- Dry Roast Urad Dal, Fenugreek, Red Chillies separately in medium flame and keep aside .(Make sure Urad Dal should turn into light brown color). Mix all three ingredients and grind when cooled.
Mix Tamarind, salt and Turmeric with water and bring it to boil
Add orange peels into the boiled mixture and cook until the orange peel turns soft.
4.Now, add the ground powder into the cooked mixture and combine well . You may add little water if consistency is too thick and allow to boil in medium flame for another 2-5 minutes
5. Add Jaggery into it and mix well until it dissolves. You can temper the curry with Mustard,red chilli and curry leaves as per your taste.
Now Orange Peel Curry ready to Use !!!!!!!!!
